Mahesh Babu, fondly known as the Prince of Tollywood and Naani, is the son of Tollywood Super Star Krishna. Mahesh Babu was born on August 9, 1975 and is in movies since his childhood. Later he decided to take a break to concentrate on studies. Most of his education happened in Chennai.

The prince of Tollywood (Telugu Cinema), Maheshbabu, the younger son of legendary actor and super star Krishna and Smt. Indira Devi is known for his good looks, charisma, polished acting and dancing skills. The celluloid world welcomed him as a child artiste with the movie 'Poratam' and he firmly cemented his stardom with a succession of movies. But later he decided to take a break to concentrate in his studies and earned a B.Com degree from Chennai. He made a comeback debut as a hero with the film 'Rajakumarudu' which was a big hit. 6' 3" tall, very boyish and charming, Mahesh babu, became the heartthrob of Tollywood with a series of hits to his credit. Personal Life: He is the son of Telugu actor Krishna and Indira Devi. He has one elder brother, Ramesh, and three younger sisters, Padmavathi, Manjula and Priyadarsini. He married Bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar in February 2005. He was schooled at Loyola College, Chennai and received a degree in Commerce.

Career: Mahesh started out his movie career as a child actor in his father's films before turning professional at the age of 22. A series of movies followed, among them Rajakumarudu, Murari, Okkadu and Athadu. However, his latest release Pokiri is the commercially most successful film of his career so far.
